Those that know me, know I’m slightly obsessive compulsive and have some pretty crazy collections of crap. Shoes, The Simpsons, spray paint, Kangols, Mr.T, taxidermy, etc…
Well after this last trip out west, I’ve finally completed collecting all 50 State Quarters from both the Denver and Philly mints (100 total). Someone gave me these 2 stupid quarter collecting books back in ’99, well knowing I’d be stuck doing this bullshit for 10 years, since they only put out 5 states a year. The only stipulation was to have the change show up in my pocket or have a friend give me the quarter. I put up with a lot of clowning, but screw you guys, I did it.

Some day this collection will be worth way more than the street credibility I just deducted on my own account.

Albus Cavus and 45 DC youth, with the help of artists Pose 2, Quest Skinner, Decoy, Joshua Mays and Chor Boogie, and in conjunction with the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Summer Youth Employment Program, have begun the transformation of a parking lot into a work of public art.
On August 15, Albus Cavus is hosting a “mural jam” for local artists to contribute their work and extend the mural down the sprawling wall to the street. On August 22, the mural will be unveiled at a Public Opening. The event invites the community to learn and appreciate the artwork and will feature live music, deejays, giveaways and an artist market.

Walking around yesterday, we stumbled upon the Lovejoy Columns. I then remembered seeing photos that FELON & HIGH took when they lived in Portland and these columns were still part of the highway. For some reason I thought there were more drawings than this?
