Been working away on a new solo show, “Derailed” opening June 19th at Studio H in DC.

Here’s a toast to your enemies’ enemies!
Arek and I got good old Daver out to paint this weekend. We had a great time catching up on stories and getting him used to painting with Montana 94, Ironlak and female Rustos. Needless to say, he “never missed a beat”. Hopefully we can keep him moving and he won’t fall back into another years-long hiatus; Baltimore needs its OG style back.
Had some surprise guests show up many cars deep for autographs and interviews, but we all worked it out. They did admit the wall was looking good.
I’ve been working with my friend Billy Colbert on this new bar called the Iron Horse Tap Room. It’s located on 7th Street, toward the end of Chinatown in DC. I just got finished the first stage of a mural in the front bar, done in time for the opening tonight.
It’s based off an old 1920′s ad. All done with Montana 94 spray paint, and I have to say that paint is amazing indoors probably because of the matte finish and low pressure. No giant cloud of overspray in the air.
Billy has screen prints throughout the place as well, and did a pretty crazy 25′ bar collage.
We still have more painting to go, but it should look pretty dope when it’s all done. The Prince of Petworth stopped through last night and has a write-up with all the info and more pictures here.
